Casey Dreier
Casey is the Director of Space Policy for The Planetary Society, the world’s largest independent space outreach organization. He leads the strategic planning and implementation of the Society’s policy and advocacy efforts while working closely with the Society’s leadership, the Board of Directors, and the broad membership. He also works to educate and engage the public about the fascinating way in which space exploration actually happens: through policy and politics.
He is a regular contributor to The Planetary Report, blogs regularly about space policy issues on planetary.org, and co-hosts the monthly Space Policy Edition podcast of Planetary Radio. His favorite space mission ever is Pioneer 11, though a human mission to Mars just might take the top spot if and when that happens.
