Congresswoman Stacey Plaskett (D-VI) joins Jill Wine-Banks and Victor Shi on this all-new episode of Intergenerational Politics to talk about her time being one of the nine House Impeachment Managers, how the team sorted through the evidence and charges of former President Trump, the strategies used during the trial, what her views are about the acquittal and future accountability, and her time in public service and advice for younger generations. Most recently, Congressman Plaskett served as one of the impeachment managers during former President Trump’s second impeachment trial and became a star from her clear, concise, and compelling presentations. Congresswoman Plaskett represents the United States Virgin Island in the House where she has served for four terms. Currently, she sits on the influential House Ways and Means Committee as well as the House Committee on Budget. Before becoming a member of Congress, she was an Assistant District Attorney in Bronx, New York and served at the Department of Justice as Senior Counsel under Deputy Attorney General Larry Thompson and later James Comey when he was Deputy Attorney General. Congresswoman Plaskett earned an undergraduate degree from Georgetown University and a law degree from American University.
