Adrienne S. Lever
Adrienne is the Director of Partnerships for ChangePolitics, a new elections project of Change.org. Change.org is the world’s largest and faster growing platform for civic action with over 100 million users globally.
Prior to joining Change.org, Adrienne was the Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships at Democracy Works, a non-profit tech startup that works to make voting easier by building tools to streamline the elections process. As part of her work at Democracy Works, Adrienne coordinated voter registration efforts at over 200 US colleges and universities through the TurboVote program. Adrienne passion for civic engagement around elections also extends beyond US borders. In her spare time, she designs and leads training programs for youth activists and political leaders internationally, with a focus in West Africa.
Adrienne began her career working on political campaigns and in government. She served a Regional Director for two years on the first campaign to elect Barack Obama and in 2009, joined the US Department of Energy as Special Assistant to the Assistant Secretary, where she directed strategic communications and coordinated with political staff across Federal agencies, Congress and the White House.
Adrienne holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of California at Berkeley, an International Diploma from the Institut d’Études Politiques, Paris, and a dual Masters in International Affairs and Public Administration from Columbia University and the London School of Economics.
