Alex Ebert is a platinum-selling songwriter and frontman for Edward Sharpe and The Magnetic Zeros, a Golden Globe-winning film composer, an activist, a writer, and a director, among other things.  He is also a founder and CEO of Proxy.Vote, a not-for-profit app/PAC hybrid to improve the quality of representation in government.  Proxy.Vote currently has 6 congressional candidates pledged to it’s platform of transparency and accountability.  It is currently facilitating experimental GOTV campaigns in each of the 6 districts in an attempt to dramatically increase participation by increasing trust.
