Eddie Izzard

Already one of the most acclaimed comics of his generation, Eddie Izzard is developing an equally stellar reputation as a film, television and stage actor. Eddie has starred in many feature films such as Valkyrie opposite Tom Cruise, Steven Soderbergh’s Ocean’s Thirteen and Ocean’s Twelve, Julie Taymor’s Across the Universe, Every Dayopposite Liev Schreiber and Helen Hunt, and Victoria & Abdul opposite Judi Dench. Izzard also lent his voice to the Disney’s animated featureCars 2 opposite Owen Wilson, MGM’s Igor, Disney’s Five Children and It, The Wild, and Warner Bros.’ Lego Batman Movie. Eddie’s stage appearances include David Mamet’s Race and The Cryptogram, the title role in Marlowe’s Edward II, 900 Oneonta, and A Day in the Death of Joe Egg in London and on Broadway which won him a handful of awards, including a Tony nomination for Best Actor. In the spring of 2013, Izzard embarked on the Force Majeure World Tour around the globe.

On the television side, Izzard has appeared on NBC in Bryan Fuller’s thriller Hannibal and as Grandpa Munster in the TV movie Mockingbird Lane. Izzard also starred in Powers, PlayStation Network’s first scripted original series based on the comic book.  In addition, Izzard appeared in Jenji’s Kohan’s pilot, The Devil You Know for HBO. His bizarre, tangential, absurd, and surreal comic narratives continue to be lauded for their creativity and wit.
