Rick Ungar

Host of the nationally syndicated radio program, “The Rick Ungar Show”

Rick Ungar has a history of showing up where you wouldn’t imagine he would be welcomed.

A progressive who has made his mark in radio and television by being willing to mix it up with anyone with an opposing political point of view, don’t be surprised to see Rick engaging with conservatives on every topic under the sun, even in the very heart of conservative media. Why? As Rick puts it, “Preaching to the converted is comfortable-taking the message and the fight to heart of the opposition is challenging, impactful and, frankly, a whole lot of fun.” Having become known to talk radio audiences around the nation as the co-host of Sirius XM POTUS’ popular Steele & Ungar, where entertaining and fact-based discourse were always the order of the day, Rick proved to the nation that a radio program could be entertaining and informative without all the partisan spin-a formula he now brings to his terrestrial radio show. For Ungar, it’s about coming at the issues from the left but not for the left-allowing him to call out anyone looking to pull the wool over the collective eyes of America.

Prior to his entry into the world of talk radio, Rick was the first liberal in Forbes Magazine history to be a contributor to the magazine’s op-ed page. Prior to that experience, Ungar spent many years as a successful writer and producer in the entertainment business, including a stint as one of Spider-man’s bosses while the CEO of The Marvel Character Group.
